Configure Offer Advanced Options

The Advanced Options tab of the Offer Details screen contains a variety of different features and options, organized into sections. These sections are described below in more detail.

To edit the options within a specific section:

  1. Select Campaigns from the top navigation bar, then select Offers > Offers from the side navigation menu. The Offers screen is displayed.

  2. Search for and select the desired Offer (see Search for an Offer for more information on the available search options). The Offer Details screen is displayed, with the Definition tab selected by default.

  3. Select the Advanced Options tab.

  4. Click Edit (being sure to click the edit button within the desired section that you want to modify). The Edit Offer pop-up window is displayed.

  5. Enter the desired configuration options.

  6. Click Save.

Limits Section

This section is used to define various limitations or restrictions on this Offer.

  • Allow API Responses: If enabled, allows the platform to reference this Offer in API responses. Typically, this feature should be enabled.

  • Overall Limit: Define a maximum limit (across all Members) that this Offer can be redeemed within a specified time period (or all time). Uncheck No Limit to enable this feature. Enter the limit, and select the time period from the drop-down menu.

  • Maximum Responses per Member: Define a maximum limit that this Offer can be redeemed by each Member within a specified time period (or all time). Uncheck No Limit to enable this feature. Enter the limit, and select the time period from the drop-down menu.

  • Response Interval: Define a period of time that must elapse after a Member redeems this Offer, before they can redeem this Offer again. Uncheck No Limit to enable this feature. Enter an interval and a period of time (such as “7 days” for example).

Business Section

This section allows you to assign a monetary value to a Offer Response.

  • Business Value: Enter the monetary value of the Offer Response.

Prize Section

This section allows you to configure a prize when a Member claims this Offer. Prizes are split into a Primary Prize (which is always awarded), and a Secondary Prize (which is randomly awarded).

  • Primary Prize: The Primary Prize must be a Metric. Enter the amount of the prize, and select a Metric.

  • Secondary Prize. The Secondary Prize can be one of the following:

    • Metric: Enter the amount of the prize, and select a Metric.

    • Reward Award: Select a Reward. Optionally, check Auto Claim. If checked, the Award will automatically move to a status of Claimed. In the Prize Instances field, enter the number of times a Member can win this prize; the default is 1.

    • Reward Contest: Select a Contest. In the Prize Instances field, enter the number of times a Member can win this prize; the default is 1.

  • Secondary Prize Frequency: Determine the chances of winning the Secondary Prize. Either enter an interval of winning Offers (for example, every 100th Offer claim), or enter a probability of winning as a percentage.

Placement Section

  • Show in Offers: Select Yes or No.

  • Show to Public: Select Yes or No.

Public Offers is an optional feature that will generate a JSON file to be presented on a website or app to non-Members. This feature is designed to showcase the Offers available in your loyalty program, in order to encourage non-Members to enroll. Using this option will add the details of this Offer to that JSON file, which will then need to manually be added to your website by your web developers. Please speak with your Professional Services team for information about enabling this feature.

Static Files Section

Images or other files added to the Offer content in the Content Editor will appear within this section. From this section, you can:

  • Attach a file: Click Attach. The Add Static File pop-up window is displayed. Either drag-and-drop the file onto the target area in this window, or click the target area to browse to and select a file on your local PC. A preview is displayed. Optionally enter a Display Name and Description. Click Create.

  • View a file: Click the file name. From this window, you can also download the file to your local PC by clicking the Download link.

  • Edit file properties: Select Action > Edit next to the desired file. The Edit File pop-up window is displayed. Optionally change the file's Display Name or Description

  • Replace a file: Select Action > Edit next to the desired file. The Edit File pop-up window is displayed. Click Choose File, then browse to and select the desired file on your local PC. When finished, click Save. Please note, if uploading a replacement file, the new file must have the same filename as the existing static file.

  • Delete a file: Select Action > Delete next to the desired file. A confirmation dialog box is displayed; click Confirm.
